Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and coordinate month-end and year-end close across statutory and management general ledgers.
  • •Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages; explain variances and accounting impacts.
  • •Analyze and review system-generated journal entries in JD Edwards E1 and review work completed by junior accountants.
  • •Investigate accounting issues related to business activity, operational changes, and IFRS requirements; recommend practical solutions.
  • •Maintain internal control compliance and support audit requests, consolidated reporting, and annual tax package preparation.

Salary: USD 78,900 - 98,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a complex or multinational organization.
  • •Canadian or US CPA designation (or equivalent combination of education and professional accounting experience).
  • •Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • •Working knowledge of IFRS and internal control requirements.
