Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and deliver features for a highly scalable distributed storage product within Broadcom’s Cloud Native Storage team. You’ll work across the Kubernetes storage control plane to the vSAN data plane, tackling distributed systems challenges, lifecycle management of Kubernetes workloads, and cross-functional collaboration to enable enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement distributed systems, primarily using Go and/or C++, across the storage control plane and data plane.
•Lead the SDLC in designated technical areas to accelerate feature delivery, including deployment in highly scalable environments.
•Collaborate with Technical Leads, architects, dependent teams, and Product Management to translate large-scale problems into clear technical designs and execution plans.
•Troubleshoot and debug production and non-production issues across multiple layers of the stack.
•Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 141,300 - 226,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems applications.

•Infrastructure experience including Linux, container runtimes, and storage technologies (CSI, PVs/PVCs).
