Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Business Development and Execution to establish project scope and scope alternatives that meet customer needs.
  • •Facilitate project planning sessions and incorporate departmental input into scope alternatives for estimates.
  • •Develop unclassified estimates, associated risks, and schedules to support new business opportunities and go/no-go decisions.
  • •Provide Class estimate development support for Expansion Projects, including risk registers, schedules, basis of estimates, and estimate reviews.
  • •Ensure project designs and constructed assets comply with regulatory requirements, and evaluate scope/design change requests for impact on EBITDA, reliability, and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in an applicable discipline; professional engineering designation (P.Eng) and registration with APEGA.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline and oil or gas processing, including design, construction, and project management.
  • •Familiarity with labour, safety, and environmental regulations and Canadian codes/standards for pipelines and hydrocarbon-processing facilities (e.g., CSA Z662).
  • •Knowledge of AACE and PMI best practices in estimating and project management.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Project and project scheduling tools, with ability to manage multiple assignments and coordinate stakeholders and contractors.
