Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate backend services and data pipelines for performance marketing use cases including hotel feeds, ad integrations, and experiment data.
  • •Contribute to technical design discussions and implement production systems that run at scale.
  • •Own end-to-end development lifecycle activities: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • •Improve system reliability, scalability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • •Support engineering standards such as CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent practical experience, with 8+ years focused on backend and/or data engineering.
  • •Strong proficiency in Scala (preferred) or another JVM language such as Java or Kotlin.
  • •Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • •Experience building and operating data processing and pipeline systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka, workflow orchestration).
  • •Experience leading incident response and driving architectural decisions to improve system reliability and engineering metrics.
