Job Summary

Manage budgeting and reporting for the Pune office, reporting to the Associate Director – Finance. Own yearly budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts, deliver extensive monthly management reports, and provide accurate variance commentary. Ensure accruals and deferrals, monthly billings, and journal entries are handled correctly. Build reports using EPBCS (Oracle-based) and perform variance analysis in Smart View alongside Oracle ERP. Lead the team and coordinate with US and India leaders, including need-based evening support.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Budgeting & Reporting function for the Pune office and coordinate with the Associate Director – Finance.
•Produce extensive monthly management reports with accurate variance commentary based on in-depth transaction understanding.
•Own yearly budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts end to end.
•Ensure accruals and deferrals are booked correctly by the accounting team and that monthly billings are accurate.
•Generate budget-system reports in EPBCS (Oracle based) and perform variance analysis using Smart View and Oracle ERP.

Key Requirements

•Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or PGDBA/PG in Finance as major.
•9-10 years post-qualification experience in an FP&A environment with a US-based company.
•Strong ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting, including variance analysis with deep transaction understanding.
•Experience ensuring accruals, deferrals, monthly billings, and journal entries are correctly booked.
•Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; required to work on Smart View and EPBCS (Oracle based).
