Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical execution of tasks and propose solutions to complex mechanical design problems across the lifecycle of defense subsystems
•Communicate with cross-disciplinary team members and suppliers to analyze, model, and document the design technical data package (TDP) and ensure compliance with requirements
•Lead designated hardware tasks with limited supervision and collaborate across multiple functions such as supply chain, operations, quality, and electrical
•Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and major end items for defense equipment in accordance with system requirements
•Collaborate with Raytheon factories and suppliers on new product integration and manufacturing process improvements

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 68,900 - 131,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant mechanical design experience
•Two years of directly related work experience in mechanical design and design documentation
•Mechanical aptitude to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
