Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
  • •Operate an asphalt paver and/or screed to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications.
  • •Maintain proper compaction and smoothing of asphalt and make screed control adjustments for depth, grade, and finished cross section.
  • •Guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to the machine hopper when operating the paver.
  • •Perform minor servicing/maintenance, keep machines cleaned and maintained, and travel to various job locations.
