Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, test, and ship MongoDB integrations across an AI framework ecosystem, including LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, n8n, and Mastra.
  • •Own well-scoped projects end to end on weekly-to-quarterly timelines, managing scope, schedule, and quality while communicating progress and trade-offs.
  • •Solve day-to-day technical problems with growing independence, contributing exploratory work on new frameworks by evaluating feasibility and sharing learnings.
  • •Contribute high-quality code upstream to external repositories, following contribution practices and maintaining standards through maintainer review cycles.
  • •Improve and maintain engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, version compatibility, release steps) and keep integrations healthy by monitoring upstream changes and triaging issues.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years building backend systems, libraries, or developer-facing software with strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • •Experience designing, writing, testing, and debugging in a shared, long-lived codebase with maintainability in mind (tests and documentation).
  • •Track record of delivering scoped projects reliably and on time, with growing independence and good judgment on when to ask for help.
  • •Interest in modern AI builder workflows and developer tooling, including agentic patterns and RAG/retrieval, embedding, or vector search.
  • •Strong technical communication (verbal and written) and a collaborative, intellectually honest approach to working in a close-knit team.
