Translate messy customer reality into CFO-defensible quantified business cases. Partner with account teams on discovery to connect engineering and manufacturing outcomes (ECO, rework, cycle time, cost of poor quality) to ROI, top-line/bottom-line, and strategic framing. Build and maintain value frameworks, support pilots and QBRs with realized-value narratives, and pressure-test assumptions so deals progress from champion belief to finance-grade justification.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with account teams on discovery to connect customer pain to measurable engineering and manufacturing outcomes, including ECO, rework cost, review cycle time, cost of poor quality, vendor coordination, schedule, and reclaimed engineering capacity.
•Build ROI models and business cases using top-line/bottom-line and strategic framing, ensuring finance-grade defensibility as cases mature.
•Anchor each case in reality and pressure-test assumptions with sourced, traceable evidence tied to the customer’s agreed belief or actual data.
•Turn complex, often incomplete data into simple presentations and executive narratives that move buying committees.
•Create and maintain value frameworks; support pilots/POCs and onboarding by tracking early indicators, and own value content for QBRs and RFP responses tied to value, ROI, and financial justification.

Key Requirements

•Background in management consulting, finance, or a quantitative analyst role, ideally with exposure to mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or product development.
•Comfort working with messy or incomplete data and presenting clear insight with assumptions explicitly flagged.
•Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to defend the math line by line for execs (VP Engineering, CEO, CFO).
•Skilled storyteller who can turn models into compelling executive narratives and build effective decks under pressure.
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and visualization tools, and fluency with AI as a force multiplier.
