Job Summary

Support the bank’s Global ESG & Sustainability team to measure, track, and accelerate decarbonization of financed and operational emissions. Own decarbonisation strategy support, GHG accounting and data management using frameworks such as PCAF and GHG Protocol, and apply science-based target setting methodologies. Partner with business lines and internal stakeholders to embed decarbonisation into processes, maintain reporting dashboards, and monitor climate regulations and disclosure standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Support development and refinement of decarbonisation strategies and roadmaps for financed and operational emissions aligned to net-zero commitments.
•Collect, validate, and analyze GHG emissions data (including financed emissions Scope 3 Category 15), ensuring accuracy and consistency across regions and business lines.
•Maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to track decarbonisation progress and support annual financed emissions baseline refresh calculations.
•Apply and manage science-based target setting methodologies; evaluate and recommend emissions measurement and decarbonisation pathway methodologies and tools.
•Provide specialist guidance to client-facing teams on decarbonisation topics and monitor climate-related regulations and reporting standards (e.g., EU Taxonomy, CSRD).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
•5–8 years of progressive experience in environmental management, GHG accounting, climate risk, sustainable finance, or a related technical role, preferably in finance/consulting/corporate with climate agenda.
•Deep expertise in GHG Protocol Corporate Standard (Scope 1, 2, 3) and extensive experience with PCAF for financed emissions accounting.
•Proven experience with science-based target setting and validation processes.
•Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as advanced Excel, Python, R, Power BI, and Tableau.
