Job Summary

Ensure contractor compliance with contract documents by performing site supervision, inspections, and quality checks. Review drawings, specifications, and health & safety measures, coordinate daily with other teams, and process inspection requests and technical submittals. Maintain records of manpower, equipment, and observed activities, report on materials delivery and site instruction follow-up, and monitor health and safety violations while supporting measurements and surveying checks.

•Read and understand contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, including updates.
•Inspect and verify contractor compliance through observation, measurements, and testing while tracking quality assurance progress.
•Document assigned areas’ contractor personnel and equipment, activities observed, locations, reasons, and methods used.
•Undertake site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
•Monitor health and safety of construction works, report violations, and process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of overall experience in construction supervision with a consultancy on mechanical-related projects.
•Diploma in Engineering required for the Inspector level.
•Good knowledge of basic design requirements and mechanical methodologies (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, water supply) including building codes.
•Experience with buildings of all types, particularly high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality.
•Effective oral and written communication, including the ability to write clear, concise reports in English.
