Job Summary

Build and run Visa’s Site Reliability Engineering function to keep the development platform reliable and scalable. You’ll support developers’ critical DevTools (GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory), maintain CI/CD pipelines, and drive observability using metrics, logs, and traces. The role includes designing high-availability systems, participating in on-call, performing root-cause analysis, and partnering with engineering teams to improve reliability and automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary point of contact for developers using GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory; troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues to minimize downtime.
•Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and integrations to improve reliability and scalability.
•Design, implement, and maintain high-availability, scalable, and high-performance systems.
•Develop and maintain observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing), participate in on-call, and drive root cause analysis for incidents.
•Partner with engineering teams to identify reliability risks, document troubleshooting/playbooks, and advocate for automation and self-service solutions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
•2+ years experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Artifactory, or Azure DevOps in a large-scale environment.
•2+ years working in a Platform, SRE, or Production Engineering group for high availability/critical platforms or applications.
•Beginner-level programming/scripting in at least two of: Python, Java, Go, PowerShell, JavaScript, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Chef, CloudFormation.
•Hands-on experience with Linux and distributed computing environments; solid knowledge of CI/CD principles and pipelines.
