Job Summary

Join the Production team as a Welder, manufacturing high-quality stainless-steel products through safe, accurate, and timely fabrication. You’ll interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications, set up and operate TIG welding equipment, assemble components, and inspect joints for quality and code compliance. The role also includes maintaining records, managing tools and workspace standards, following PPE and site safety procedures, and collaborating with production stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
•Set up, prepare, and operate TIG welding equipment to weld and fabricate stainless steel products to standard.
•Assemble metal structures and components in line with design requirements and inspect welded joints for structural integrity and quality compliance.
•Ensure work meets relevant welding codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements; identify defects and perform repairs/adjustments.
•Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements; safely handle gases and hazardous substances and maintain accurate records.

Key Requirements

•Relevant welding qualification (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Welding & Fabrication, or equivalent).

•Proven experience in a workshop or site-based welding environment.
•Strong TIG welding capability.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols; good understanding of fabrication and inspection methods.
