Job Summary

Build and own vertical search quality and relevance for verticals and short-drama content. Apply multimodal understanding to align semantics across photo-text/short-drama inputs, optimize relevance models, and improve ranking and distribution using LLM/VML technologies. Own the engineering and performance lifecycle for model training, inference, and deployment while ensuring online stability. Conduct technical pre-research on semantic understanding and relevance matching to advance search business impact.

Key Responsibilities

•Iteratively optimize vertical search or independent short-drama app search quality and relevance algorithm directions.
•Use multimodal technology for content understanding to address semantic alignment and cross-modal matching challenges by integrating visual features and text semantics.
•Optimize relevance and quality models and improve vertical search distribution experience using LLM/VML technologies.
•Implement vertical search algorithm models end-to-end: training, inference, and deployment, ensuring online stability.
•Track cutting-edge technology trends and conduct pre-research and innovative practices for semantic understanding and relevance matching to improve team competitiveness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in a computer-related major, with strong coding ability and proficiency in C++ and/or Python, plus familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
•Solid foundation in machine learning and coding, with strong algorithm design and modeling skills, and familiarity with at least one of ML, data mining, NLP, image processing, multimodality, or large models.
•Ability to analyze and solve problems, with initiative, curiosity, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
•Preferred: understanding search business characteristics, including image quality evaluation, content relevance judgment, and multimodal content understanding.
•Preferred: experience in content search and recommendations.
