Job Summary

Join the BRIC team to build and improve machine learning solutions that mitigate business risks across TikTok and ByteDance platforms. You’ll develop robust labels, features, and algorithms to reduce operational load on risk adversaries and support privacy/compliance, interpretability, and risk perception. Key Responsibilities

•Build machine learning solutions to respond to and mitigate business risks across ByteDance products/platforms (e.g., abusive accounts, fake engagements, spammy redirection, scraping, fraud).
•Improve modeling infrastructures, labels, features, and algorithms for robustness, automation, and generalization.
•Reduce modeling and operational load on risk adversaries and support new product/risk ramping-ups.
•Level up risk machine learning excellence across privacy/compliance, interpretability, risk perception, and analysis.
•Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve infrastructures, services, tools, and algorithms for privacy and security.

Key Requirements

•Final year or recent graduate with a background in computer science, statistics, or other machine-learning-heavy majors.
•Solid engineering skills with proficiency in at least two of: Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm.
•Strong machine learning background with proficiency or publications in modern ML theories and applications (e.g., deep neural nets, transfer/multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, time series, graph unsupervised learning).
•Ability to think critically and communicate in a result-oriented, data-driven manner with high autonomy.
