Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts, including safe deposit box and basic loan support.
  • •Answer client questions and resolve issues by listening, collecting data, and providing accurate answers while maintaining customer account privacy.
  • •Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services to meet sales production goals.
  • •Receive and process new accounts and changes (e.g., name/address/product changes), including debit card disputes and related account maintenance.
  • •Support banking center operations by completing reports/records, attending training/meetings, maintaining clean/secure work areas, and assisting with year-end and special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Zero to 3 years of New Account experience.
  • •Complete the Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan (and Teller Learning Plan if applicable).
  • •Training/understanding of secure caller identification and secure code, plus BPM Training I–IV and DocuSign training/forms.
  • •Ability to open and maintain consumer and commercial checking/savings accounts, issue debit cards, complete customer file maintenance, and clear DDA exceptions in a timely manner.
