Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the lead mechanical engineer on medium to large projects and maintain responsibility for mechanical deliverables and coordination.
  • •Develop core deliverables including P&IDs, equipment location plans, piping plans, piping isometrics, piping material specifications, equipment lists, and specialty items lists.
  • •Perform and check engineering calculations such as equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and pipe stress analysis.
  • •Support proposal development and equipment procurement activities, including specifications, quotations, technical bid tabulations, and vendor data review.
  • •Coordinate with project management and other disciplines on scope changes, budgets, and schedules; provide mentorship and occasional site visits for proposal development and construction support.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related) plus 8+ years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • •Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, PIP, ANSI, ASTM, etc.).
