Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify source document from document management systems.
  • •Carry out impact assessments to create Data Management Requirement Lists.
  • •Create and update technical description and operating information data modules in XML compliant with ASD S1000D 4.1.
  • •Author and manage DMs in EPS using the EPS XML editor and produce graphic mark-ups for illustrations supporting DMs.
  • •Quality check DM outputs for compliance and liaise with principal engineers to resolve technical/formatting issues.

Key Requirements

  • •HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • •Proficiency authoring technical DMs in XML/SGML to ASD S1000D standards.
  • •Good knowledge of IETP/IETM.
  • •Experience handling documents and working with configuration control.
  • •Experience within a technical documentation or support engineering discipline, including understanding of CSDB (data vault).
