Job Summary

Manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of complex test equipment, coordinating procurement activities and tracking multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle to meet customer schedules. Resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues using engineering design knowledge, and use EMMS to generate work orders and build/maintain IBOMS. Provide material/work order status to customers, support engineering design reviews, and help troubleshoot manufacturing and delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, and electro/mechanical fixtures.
•Generate work orders and build/maintain IBOMS, and create material requisitions using EMMS.
•Manage and track multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, resolving procurement issues and ensuring delivery to customer schedules.
•Acquire, track, manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test sets.
•Assist in resolving manufacturing issues, oversee delivery of final products, and manage build configuration and quality history records.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant engineering experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
•Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment.
•Experience with material procurement.
•Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware.
•Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings.
