Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead supplier APQP execution from early design through PPAP submission and mass-production launch, ensuring on-time quality gates and deliverables.
  • •Perform design and DFM/A reviews for interior commodities, translating manufacturing needs into clear design requirements and quality expectations.
  • •Drive and track supplier engineering design changes, ensuring accurate implementation, validation, and updates to production controls.
  • •Conduct supplier assessments, audits, sourcing evaluations, and site inspections; establish and drive closure of capability or compliance gaps.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to protect Lucid plants and customers, analyze build data for capability/readiness, and recommend build approval and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in high-volume manufacturing or assembly-plant environments within Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, R&D, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • •6+ years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Hands-on experience with interior components and complex assemblies (e.g., instrument panels, door panels, center consoles, interior switches/mechanisms).
  • •Proficiency with IATF 16949 and quality/program methods including APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, and GD&T.
