Lead and optimize the end-to-end operations for the BESS procurement entity, overseeing testing, supplier qualification, production planning, logistics, and finance processes to ensure compliant, timely delivery of components and adherence to contractual and lender requirements in a large-scale renewables environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the operations of BESS Procurement Company including qualification testing, pre-production test, testing and quality assurance.
•Manage third-party inspection agencies responsible for qualification testing, pre-shipment testing, production testing, site testing and warranty period testing to ensure components meet specifications and performance parameters.
•Manage the production process of the technologies purchased by BESS Proc Co.
•Manage the Sponsors qualification process of suppliers, technologies and production lines in line with contracts and supply chain standards and policies.
•Manage and monitor the manufacturing and transportation schedule.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or finance or related field.
•6-8 years of experience in contracts and purchasing in a large organization requiring procurement of a large range of products and services, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
•Knowledge of financial, legal and corporate responsibility matters.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills leading to a consultative approach within a corporate / multifunctional environment.
•Strong research and analytical skills; ability to prioritize actions and manage a diverse team.
