Key Responsibilities

  • •Secure land access by arranging surveys and ensuring compliance with legal and environmental standards.
  • •Lead audits and quality assurance reviews of land access documentation and processes.
  • •Provide senior-level advice to clients and project boards on land acquisition risks and opportunities.
  • •Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory legal obligations and oversee dispute resolution and sensitive escalations.
  • •Manage junior members of the Land Team, including technical support and training, plus establish training programmes and succession planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Led a technical team of land consultants delivering land consenting or land assembly services on Survey Engagement.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK land access requirements, including S172s and land access licences/permits, with an understanding of the land and property industry.
  • •Good commercial awareness of budget, scope, change control, and other project management activities for major infrastructure projects.
  • •Demonstrable experience reducing land risk for clients and advising on land-related matters across project lifecycles.
  • •General IT skills (Microsoft Office, Teams) and strong GIS/mapping tool skills; a full driving licence is required.
