Job Summary

Account Executive in Ireland’s Construction vertical, responsible for managing a portfolio of construction clients and pursuing new business. Key Responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of Construction Clients in a busy broking environment, including Employers and Project Owners across Ireland and EMEA.
•Handle contracts for projects from €20m up to multi-billions and renewals from start to finish.
•Assist the Director with new business plans and achieve ambitious goals while expanding the Construction Industry Vertical in Ireland.
•Provide guidance on general insurance products (e.g., Contractors All Risks, DSU, Third Party Liability) and vet documentation against defined standards.
•Support the claims team and ensure compliance with broking best-practice and management audit requirements.

Key Requirements

•Strong relevant experience in the insurance broking sector, working on both new and existing business in a client-facing role.
•Experience with commercial clients and particular expertise in construction clients.
•Minimum CIP qualification (or equivalent) with progress toward ACII desirable.
•Knowledge of Contractors All Risks, Delay in Start Up (DSU), Third Party Liability, Non-Negligence, Marine Cargo and Marine DSU coverages.
•Ability to manage and place new business while maintaining high standards of compliance and CPD hours.
