Job Summary

Lead merchant monetisation strategy across Deliveroo’s markets as the S&O Lead for Monetisation. Own frameworks for commission, merchant fees, and take rate, run monetisation pilots, and scale what works. Partner with commercial, product, engineering, and finance to define roadmaps, operationalise strategy through playbooks and governance, and standardise approaches while staying compliant with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Define monetisation strategy across global markets, setting commission and fee frameworks and overall take rate; run pilots and scale successful models.
•Be the voice of merchant partners and drive sustainable merchant growth and best-in-class merchant selection while ensuring Deliveroo’s fair share.
•Standardise monetisation approaches across markets and segments, staying grounded in competitive and market landscapes.
•Operationalise strategy by building playbooks, guidelines, and negotiation frameworks to land monetisation changes with commercial and account management teams.
•Define and govern monetisation OKRs and roadmaps with Engineering and Product, using technical solutions and automation, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience (preferably strategy consulting and business operations) in tech, marketplaces, or B2B monetisation.
•Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, subscription pricing, or complex B2B financial models.
•Strong data-driven approach with proficiency in data and visualization tools to solve commercial problems.
•Proven ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in a high-growth, matrixed environment.
•A bias for action with the ability to drive structure and clarity in ambiguous environments.
