Job Summary

Validate and characterize high-speed I/O interfaces for AMD datacenter server and AI platforms, from silicon bring-up through production release. Develop post-silicon validation plans, define coverage and success criteria, and execute electrical characterization, compliance, interoperability, and stress tests. Perform hands-on lab debugging with advanced measurement tools, drive root-cause analysis, and build automation and regression environments while collaborating across architecture, design, firmware, BIOS, software, and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans for high-speed I/O interfaces and memory-related technologies, including defining requirements, coverage, and success criteria.
•Design and execute electrical characterization, compliance, interoperability, and stress test scenarios across operating conditions.
•Perform hands-on lab measurements and analysis (oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, protocol analyzers, BERTs) and run margining/PHY analysis to improve interface robustness.
•Investigate and debug complex interactions across silicon, platform, firmware, BIOS, software, and hardware; drive root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
•Build and maintain automation frameworks, test scripts, and regression environments; support data collection, correlation, analysis, and reporting; share technical guidance and best practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: MYR 126,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in post-silicon validation, electrical characterization, hardware development, or system-level debug.
•Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces and protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR, or related technologies.
•Hands-on experience using high-speed measurement and debug equipment (oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, protocol analyzers, or equivalent).
•Familiarity with scripting/programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Perl, or similar.
•Experience with server, datacenter, or AI product validation; familiarity with JEDEC memory standards and PCIe compliance testing.
