Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an AECOM team lead, project manager and/or discipline lead for BRT planning, preliminary design, and final design.
  • •Oversee multidisciplinary teams preparing engineering calculations, drawings, visual aids, and multimodal street design inputs.
  • •Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and provide quality control of design calculations/drawings.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts, and provide input to engineering budget and schedule.
  • •Coordinate tasks independently and with other team members, providing leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads or Power GeoPak or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience, including Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
