Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer messaging platforms (IBM MQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ): install/configure/upgrade, secure messaging artifacts, and implement HA/DR and failover.
  • •Develop and deploy integration flows in IBM IIB/ACE (ESQL, mapping nodes, connectors) and manage integration security and performance optimization.
  • •Configure and support IoT/telemetry messaging with IBM MQXR and MQTT, including QoS policies and secure client access.
  • •Administer workload automation with IBM TWS/IWS (masters/controllers/agents), build job streams/schedules, and troubleshoot failures and recovery.
  • •Deliver automation and observability using scripts and IaC (Ansible/Terraform), integrate into CI/CD pipelines, maintain dashboards/runbooks, and support production on-call rotations.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong working knowledge of enterprise messaging and integration administration, including IBM MQ, IBM IIB/ACE, and IBM TWS/IWS scheduling.
  • •Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ, including security and performance tuning.
  • •Strong Linux/Unix system administration and debugging across messaging, networking, TLS, and application layers.
  • •Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent (relevant certifications preferred).
