Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in supervising all employees in the Pastry/Bakery kitchen.
  • •Develop and maintain culinary standards, operating manuals, recipes, and accurate dish costing.
  • •Inspect fresh food received and perform daily checks of stores and refrigerated areas to ensure quality, proper storage, and turnover.
  • •Plan weekly duty rosters and manage purchasing requests, store requisitioning, and supply control.
  • •Implement HACCP and maintain hygienic kitchen operations, personal hygiene, and OH&S compliance, including logging incidents and accidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of kitchen experience.
  • •1+ year in a pastry kitchen role, preferably with a 5* hotel chain.
  • •Experience in a pastry kitchen and food safety/health & safety knowledge.
  • •Strong English (excellent oral and written) and local language (excellent oral and written).
  • •HACCP certification and education in hospitality management (or equivalent).
