Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks such as cable pulls/terminations, system equipment/component setup, and rack fabrication/wiring layout for AV projects.
•Lead and direct installation crews on larger projects; coordinate and report progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
•Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and verify quality of work on site.
•Test point-to-point cabling and verify functionality of control/DSP systems; diagnose and resolve AV system technical issues.
•Act as customer liaison as needed, support minor programming changes, initiate return material authorizations with office staff, and provide client training.

Key Requirements

•Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification required; High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Advanced ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic), including conduit runs and cable trays.
•Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and diagnose AV equipment and network-integrated systems (IP-based, streaming, cloud-based).
•Demonstrate leadership to mentor Level 1/Level 2 technicians and use test equipment safely and effectively.
