Job Summary

Build and optimize large-scale data transformations and big data systems for the Data Platform E-Commerce team. You’ll design reliable, scalable pipelines that support core products and business needs, covering reporting, growth and multi-dimensional analysis. Partner with engineers and non-technical stakeholders to establish strong engineering practices and improve how data is ingested, modeled, and queried across the platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for reporting, growth analysis, and multi-dimensional analysis.
•Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems supporting core products and business.
•Support data ingestion and data integration workflows for the platform ecosystem.
•Establish solid design and best engineering practices for both engineers and non-technical people.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Computer Science (or related technical field) or equivalent practical experience.
•Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Flink.
•Experience performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration.
•Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems.
•Experience with schema design, data modeling, and SQL queries.
