Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain backend services for distributed systems with a focus on scale and reliability
•Collaborate with data streaming teams to build resilient data pipelines and streaming architectures using Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, and related technologies
•Optimize systems for high throughput and low latency in multi-cloud environments, including cloud-native infrastructure and IaC practices
•Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver platform capabilities that enable self-service for internal users
•Contribute to code reviews, ensure high quality through best practices, and drive initiatives that improve system reliability and performance

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems and data-heavy platforms
•Strong backend experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin preferred)
•Experience with data-heavy platforms and streaming architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, Flink or similar) and understanding of CDC, backpressure, delivery semantics
•Multi-cloud or cloud-native infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
•Ability to own tasks and deliver with proactive communication and high quality code
