Job Summary

Lead software program execution as an Integrated Product Team Lead, driving robust engineering practices to meet contractual financial, technical, and schedule commitments. Coordinate with engineering leadership to ensure technical subsystem requirements are achieved, report program metrics (including Estimates at Complete), and guide agile software engineering teams through design, development, integration, test, verification, qualification, and delivery. Mentor team members, manage risks/opportunities, and communicate status to Raytheon and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Meet contractual commitments for assigned program(s) covering financial, technical, and schedule performance.
•Report business metrics to program and functional leadership, including Estimates At Complete (EAC).
•Provide technical execution leadership to design, develop, integrate, and test, and to verify, qualify, and deliver systems meeting performance requirements.
•Communicate program status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed to Raytheon leadership and the customer community.
•As a member of the Program Leadership Team, develop and align on program vision and execution strategies while identifying, managing, and mitigating risks or capturing opportunities; mentor team members.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience leading cross-functional teams in the Defense Industry across two or more disciplines (e.g., engineering, contracts, finance, procurement/supply chain, manufacturing/operations, quality, or administrative functions).
•Experience leading Software Engineering Teams in Agile development and using Agile lifecycle management tools, preferably Jira.
•Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Integrated Master Plan/Schedule (IMP/IMS) or risk and opportunity management.
•Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required for eligibility for a security clearance.
