Job Summary

Design, implement, and integrate firmware subsystems for Samsung Flash storage products, including mobile storage using the UFS interface. Own responsibilities across the product development lifecycle from inception through qualification, and provide technical guidance to strengthen software development and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and integrate firmware subsystems for UFS-based flash storage products across the product development lifecycle.
•Develop firmware subsystems to meet or exceed technical specification targets for performance, reliability, endurance, and functionality.
•Provide technical inputs and guidance to improve and adhere to software development and quality assurance processes.
•Perform requirement analysis, architecture, design, and development, including unit/ integration testing (UT/IT).
•Troubleshoot complex issues including scalability and performance problems, memory leaks/corruption, and code-size/optimization challenges.

Key Requirements

•Strong programming skills in C/C++ with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge.
•Sound knowledge of NAND flash firmware stack components such as FTL, host interface, and flash interface.
•Experience with one or more storage protocols including eMMC, UFS, SCSI, SATA, NVMe, or SAS.
•Experience in requirement analysis, architecture, design, development, and UT/IT.
•5+ years specifically in UFS/NAND/flash storage, SSD/NVM, or NVMe firmware development.
