Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Understand and update client financial needs and conditions using sound profiling and personal financial planning analysis.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and financial planning/investment trends, serving as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their advisors.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing sales activity and pipeline information.
  • •Collaborate with Truist IRM partners to deliver an integrated and seamless approach to developing and servicing the client portfolio, while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience serving clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, and asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Must have active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses, and obtain/transfer required licenses within specified timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and written/verbal presentation skills, including basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
