Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead underwriting execution for new transactions from initial assessment through credit approval and closing.
  • •Perform and review complex underwriting analysis and transaction structuring; recommend extensions of credit aligned to bank policies and risk appetite.
  • •Prepare and present credit opportunity screening and borrower credit approval memos/write-ups, including amendment/incremental financing recommendations.
  • •Directly manage select complex credit relationships and act as a senior liaison to relationship management and credit risk during negotiations.
  • •Complete quarterly monitoring and internal risk rating recommendations; lead legal documentation review and coach team members to improve underwriting quality.
