Key Responsibilities

  • •Characterize advanced NAND memory cells and arrays to find opportunities for performance, reliability, and scaling improvements.
  • •Develop deep expertise in NAND device physics, array operation, and failure mechanisms to guide technology development.
  • •Analyze large-scale electrical test data to uncover device behaviors, qualification gaps, and screening opportunities.
  • •Apply AI-assisted and agentic AI workflows to accelerate data analysis, automate characterization tasks, and produce actionable engineering insights.
  • •Contribute to NAND cell architecture and process development, collaborating with cross-functional device, process integration, design, product, reliability, and manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges.

Key Requirements

  • •M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • •Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and semiconductor fabrication processes.
  • •Knowledge of statistical analysis and numerical computing software (MATLAB, Octave, JMP).
  • •Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI assistants, AI code-assist platforms) to improve productivity and data-driven decisions.
  • •Experience with NAND Flash or other non-volatile memory technologies (device physics, reliability, and characterization) is a plus.
