Job Summary

Support the Finance Department as a Staff Accountant reporting to the Assistant Controller. You’ll record monthly and standard journal entries to the general ledger, ensure timely month-end close, and perform account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet and expense accounts. The role also includes supporting AP/AR, running daily and month-end reports, assisting with internal and external audits, and helping maintain internal controls to safeguard company financial assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Record monthly and standard journal entries to the general ledger.
•Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
•Perform account analysis and reconciliation for balance sheet and expense G/L accounts.
•Perform financial analysis requested by the Controller and management, and run daily and month-end reports.
•Support operating plants/AP/AR as requested, assist with internal and external audits, and maintain internal controls over financial assets.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent via experience, training, and education.
•Preferred: cost and inventory accounting experience.
•Ability to apply logical thinking to gather and analyze information.
•Knowledge of accounting software and ERP software, with minimum intermediate Excel and Word knowledge.
•Strong organization and multitasking skills with attention to deadlines and clear verbal and written communication.
