Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate manufacturing and/or packaging line(s) for an 8- or 12-hour shift to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
  • •Tend manual or semi-automatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products (e.g., sealants, adhesives, primers, intermediates).
  • •Load specified amounts of solid and liquid materials into vessels/blending tanks and set valves/controls to start automatic feed.
  • •Observe reactions and monitor gauges, signals, and recorders; make operating adjustments based on quality control/lab and supervisor notifications.
  • •Package and palletize products using a forklift, perform shrink-wrapping and staging for transportation, and maintain safety, housekeeping, and minor equipment maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.4 - 20.1 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate; trade school certification in electronics or related field is a plus.
  • •Able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.
  • •Able to lift up to 74 lbs repeatedly throughout the work shift.
  • •Able to understand, analyze, and resolve technical problems in the work area.
  • •Must be able to operate a forklift and pass a Sika proficiency test (reading comprehension and math).
