Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical vision, architectural roadmap, and execution strategy for Core OMS, EMS, and multi-counterparty connectivity in partnership with product and enterprise architecture teams.
  • •Provide hands-on technical leadership through system design, low-latency coding, rigorous code reviews, protocol integration, performance profiling, and production issue troubleshooting.
  • •Design and deliver scalable, resilient microservices and event-driven messaging with caching layers, pre-trade risk controls, and automated reconciliation engines.
  • •Champion AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows across requirements decomposition, automated test generation, code generation, automated reviews, and release readiness.
  • •Establish engineering standards and guardrails for automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and observability; coach and grow engineers while driving end-to-end delivery to production rollout.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial experience designing, building, and operating high-volume, low-latency, mission-critical distributed systems using modern Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
  • •Proven understanding of order management lifecycles, Smart Order Routing, market data processing, pre-trade risk controls, and post-trade reconciliation.
  • •Demonstrated track record setting technical direction and leading complex multi-tier system deliveries across global distributed engineering teams.
  • •Deep practical experience with event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka/JMS), caching (Redis), relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle), resilient APIs (REST/gRPC), and distributed transaction management.
  • •Practical experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AWS Bedrock, LLM tooling) for automated test generation and improved SDLC efficiency.
