Job Summary

Lead the conception and execution of UK policy and regulatory outcomes, working with the Public Policy campaign team. You’ll develop advocacy priorities and strategies, build relationships with policymakers and coalition partners, monitor and analyze legislation impacts, and represent Airbnb publicly with government and industry stakeholders. Coordinate government relations, communications, and public advocacy projects while translating complex policy issues into actionable plans for business objectives.

•Develop and implement UK legislative and public policy objectives, including advocacy priorities, positions, and strategies.
•Build and maintain relationships across local, regional, and national governments and with allied coalition partners.
•Monitor and interpret legislation, providing analysis on how it may affect Airbnb priorities.
•Represent Airbnb publicly through meetings with government and elected officials and other stakeholders.
•Build partnerships and alliances and work across the business to support market objectives and prepare for change.

Salary: GBP 88,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years experience working with policy issues in a business, political, governmental, legislative, or regulatory context.
•4+ years experience in a political campaign and/or direct lobbying.
•Ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical and regulatory issues.
•Ability to manage multiple complex projects and navigate a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including planning, memo-writing, and budgeting proficiency in major computer applications including AI.
