Job Summary

Design, build, and automate end-to-end quality processes for new AMI Security products in z/OS. Own functional and non-functional test planning, develop automation scripts and frameworks for system and regression testing, and ensure high-quality, portable, maintainable solutions aligned with BMC standards. Collaborate with developers, product management, and customer support to document results, report and track defects in Jira, validate fixes, and reproduce complex scenarios as needed.

•Ensure top-notch product quality via automation and manual testing starting from early development stages.
•Design, develop, and execute functional and non-functional test plans.
•Build and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for system and regression testing.
•Work on module design with a focus on high-quality, portable, maintainable, BMC standards-compliant software.
•Document test results, report defects in Jira, collaborate to validate fixes, resolve defects, reproduce complex scenarios, and support customers.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with z/OS products.
•5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for z/OS products.
•Strong knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SMP/E, SDSF, JES2/3, SMF, JCL, and z/OS utilities/z/OSMF.
•Experience with REXX and Python, plus solid RACF knowledge.
•Hands-on use of Jenkins and QA test automation frameworks (e.g., TPNS, UFT, Selenium, Robot Framework) and excellent English communication.
