Job Summary

Senior ASIC Engineer specializing in Power Integrity, modeling and simulation within a global Circuits Solutions Group. You will model, extract and simulate PDN from die to platform, mentor junior engineers, and help drive reliable, high-performance power delivery designs for processor technologies.

Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in innovative processor design in deep submicron technologies
•Model, extract and simulate power delivery networks (PDN) from die level to platform level
•Build models of analog and digital circuits and systems in various environments
•Perform detailed block-level and system-level simulations to ensure reliability, performance, and stability
•Mentor/technical lead for junior team members

Key Requirements

•BSEE (or equivalent experience)/MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power integrity analysis and modeling and simulation of circuits and systems
•Experience with industry-standard electromagnetic simulation tools (Ansys, Sigrity)
•Experience with modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink, Simplis, Spice, verilogAMS, mixed-signal RTL+spice, s-parameters
•Familiarity/experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Allegro and circuit simulation tools (HSpice, Spectre, PrimeSim, XA, etc)
•Hands-on experience modeling and simulating complex power delivery networks for CPU/GPU is a plus
