Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate chutes and belt feeders for barge loading in support of facility operations.
  • •Perform maintenance, greasing, repairs, and housekeeping for conveyor and dock equipment.
  • •Assist in staging barges under the loading conveyor using winch cables and assist as a deckhand when moving barges.
  • •Follow company safety processes and comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
  • •Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation and follow daily task direction from foreperson/management.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • •Trade/mechanical education and maintenance/mechanical experience preferred.
