Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, onboard, coach, and retain the Solutions Engineering team; set clear coverage ownership across territories.
  • •Own technical win outcomes across the 2:1 coverage model and act as the senior technical escalation point for critical pursuits and deployments.
  • •Stand up the small cities operating model, including capacity ownership and the site assessment quality performance measure.
  • •Guide integration and airspace strategy (CAD and dispatch, video/evidence management, streaming, BVLOS approvals, waivers, COAs, and docked operations).
  • •Aggregate customer input and translate field observations into prioritized, defensible requirements for Product and Engineering while building reusable technical assets.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant technical experience in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, field engineering, or applications engineering).
  • •1+ years leading a technical team, including hiring and mentorship responsibility; first-time managers with proven people-development experience will be considered.
  • •Strong understanding of drone technology, Public Safety sUAS operations, and regulatory compliance for Drone as First Responder and dock-based remote operations.
  • •Working knowledge of Public Safety technologies (e.g., CAD, VMS) and the ability to lead integration discussions.
  • •Comfort operating inside a Sales organization, including owning quota and deal strategy, and knowing when to commit technical resources or decline.
