Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering, design, specification, and execution of mechanical packages for offshore wind substations, offshore reactive compensation platforms, and oil & gas facilities.
  • •Create equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions (MR), technical requisitions (TR), and procurement documentation for mechanical packages.
  • •Perform technical bid evaluations, review vendor quotations, and recommend suppliers; review and approve vendor documents, drawings, calculations, and manufacturing procedures.
  • •Coordinate utility systems engineering and integration, including liquid management/drain systems, diesel generator/storage/transfer systems, platform cleaning systems, and utility water systems.
  • •Support installation/commissioning and offshore start-up activities, including cable pull-in studies and fire protection systems design, and participate in design reviews and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or technical equivalent).
  • •10 years of experience in conceptual design, pre-FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, proposal engineering, and field engineering for EPC/EPCI projects.
  • •Experience managing the mechanical engineering lifecycle from specification and procurement through vendor management, installation support, and commissioning.
  • •Ability to develop equipment specifications/datasheets and prepare material and technical requisitions for mechanical packages.
  • •Working knowledge of compliance with international codes, client specifications, and project requirements.
