Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to design teams and mentor junior members to deliver design drawings, standard construction details, specifications and bill of quantities for road projects
  • •Oversee multi-disciplinary projects, manage budget and financial performance, and ensure quality meets time and budget constraints
  • •Develop strong client relationships, proactively managing expectations and advising on solutions
  • •Undertake technical preparation, review and checking of deliverables to ensure compliance with design standards
  • •Collaborate with Roads team and wider Transport and Infrastructure group to achieve objectives and optimize team contributions

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Civil Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with extensive post-qualification experience
  • •Ability to lead single or multiple design disciplines on road/highway projects
  • •Proficiency with design software including Autodesk Civils 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, InfoDrainage and/or PDS
  • •Strong client/stakeholder management and ability to identify and deliver new business opportunities
  • •Experience with contract documentation and site supervision using Public Works Contracts / CDM compliance
