Job Summary

Design, implement, verify, and integrate high-performance digital ASICs, FPGAs, and circuit boards for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. Capture requirements, develop FPGA/ASIC digital architectures using RTL, drive timing closure, and perform system integration. Recommend improvements to the ASIC/FPGA design flow, contribute to engineering estimates, and provide technical leadership for project design teams while participating in Agile planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify requirements and capture ASIC/FPGA digital architecture and design using RTL, timing closure, verification, and system integration.
•Recommend new tools and practices to continuously improve the group’s ASIC/FPGA design flow.
•Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits.
•Provide technical leadership for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status.
•Participate in Agile team meetings and planning activities.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
•U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
•Experience in RTL coding and simulation using Verilog or VHDL, including digital circuit architecture, timing analysis, and timing closure.
•Experience developing testbenches and verifying RTL blocks using SystemVerilog, plus proficiency with ASIC/FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (e.g., ModelSim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado).
