Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, fun, progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Help swimmers build confidence through enjoyable lessons that support progression.
  • •Contract for as many or as few teaching hours as you want around your current commitments.
  • •Participate in safeguarding requirements for the role, supported by the employer.
  • •Use ongoing training from the Aquatic Training Academy and CPDs to support your career development.

Key Requirements

  • •Have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (previously ASA) Level 2.
  • •A valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous (training can be provided).
  • •Be prepared for the role to require a DBS check.
