Job Summary

Support the BAE Systems Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program by performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with authorised technical data and regulatory standards. You’ll work across Mechanical, Avionics, and Armament trades, including hydraulic/propulsion system maintenance, avionics fault diagnosis, and maintenance of escape/egress and weapon store systems. Report to a Team Leader and help sustain capability growth based in Williamtown, NSW.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Mechanical: maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems and related components to meet airworthiness requirements.
•Avionics: carry out fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics systems and integrated aircraft electrical systems.
•Armament: maintain emergency escape/egress systems and aircraft weapon systems from onboard computers to carried stores.
•Load and handle aircraft and stores while maintaining compliance with technical publications and certification requirements.

Key Requirements

•Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade (Mandatory), or equivalent aircraft maintenance trade qualifications considered case-by-case.
•Australian Citizenship (Mandatory).
•Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance and comply with ITAR (Mandatory).
•Strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset.
•Ability to work in high-performance team environments.
