Perform credit underwriting and portfolio management for high-value corporate clients in the financial institutions and insurance sector. Prepare underwriting documents and financial analysis for complex, multimillion-dollar credit requests and amendments, model scenarios, and lead monitoring and risk rating. Serve as a thought leader on deal teams, guide transaction structuring and negotiations, manage legal documentation review with counsel, and ensure compliance through KYC, MCA/Patriot Act, and OFAC checks.

Key Responsibilities

•Gather and analyze financial and industry data, calculate credit metrics, identify risks and mitigants, and prepare underwriting documentation for complex credit requests and amendments.
•Model future financial performance including downside scenarios and perform enhanced leveraged cash flow due diligence when appropriate.
•Lead approvals and monitoring for lending commitments, amendments, waivers, and consents, and provide recommendations to Credit Executives as appropriate.
•Review and maintain credit agreements and collateral/legal documentation, manage counsel, and ensure documentation accurately reflects approved terms.
•Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance, identify potential problem accounts, and coordinate actions to protect asset quality and risk ratings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,000 - 268,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or equivalent work experience (required).
•Minimum 7 years (SVP) or 5 years (VP) of commercial underwriting, credit, banking, and/or financial services experience (required).
•Strong competence in financial analysis and modeling, including creating a thorough underwriting package (required).
•Proficient in structuring financial covenants for syndicated debt facilities and managing the left lead/administrative agent role in complex syndicated deals (required).
•Demonstrated knowledge of business and legal elements of credit agreements and ability to manage counsel through document negotiations (required).
